Sheila Rock’s PUNK + at Dimbola Museum & Galleries

We’re pleased to share that Sheila Rock is being celebrated in a new retrospective at Dimbola Museum & Galleries in the UK.

Opening 25th May, the exhibition — titled PUNK + — brings together works from across Sheila Rock’s influential career. It highlights her early documentation of the UK punk scene in the late 1970s, her vivid portrayals of 1980s youth culture, and features her more recent series, Tough and Tender — a quietly observant body of work captured in English seaside towns.

Sheila Rock has spent decades documenting culture with an eye for both energy and introspection. Her photographs have appeared in publications like The Face, Rolling Stone, and German Vogue, and her books — including PUNK +, Tough & Tender, and 80s Sound and Vision — have been celebrated worldwide.
