Terence Donovan (1936–1996) was a pioneering British photographer and one of the defining figures of Swinging London. Rooted in the streets of London’s East End, Donovan’s black and white photography brought a bold, cinematic and often gritty realism to fashion imagery. Shooting for Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and Elle, he redefined the visual language of contemporary photography, merging reportage energy with studio precision.
His limited edition photographic prints are available through Elliott Gallery.
