Presentation, Panel Talk and Portfolio Review Sessions at Kunstmarkt Noord
We were recently invited to take part in the first edition of “Paving Your Way in the Industry” (Photography Edition), an event organised by Kunstmarkt Noord in collaboration with Photo31.

This fantastic event brought together established and emerging photographers, curators, and industry professionals for a series of discussions on portfolio development, gallery relationships, and building a sustainable practice within photography.
Elliott Gallery founder Addie Elliott gave a presentation, sharing insights into what galleries look for when working with artists and how emerging photographers can position themselves for long-term success within the industry. This was then followed by a panel discussion featuring three photographers at different stages of their career; Harm van de Poel, Yunil Jeon, and Beri Dalgali, who shared their journeys into photography as well as practical advice on navigating the industry.
We ended the programme with portfolio review sessions. It was a pleasure to connect with so many talented artists and learn more about the work they are creating.
