The article by the photographer Jason Oddy ‘Haunting photos capture the secrets of Oscar Niemeyer’s Brasilia ghost house’, published by Wallpaper, was selected as best read article of 2020. Elliott Gallery sends their congratulations.
In this article, published in May last year, Jason Oddy tells us about his series ‘Imagem Secundària (Ghost House)’.

In his new series Imagem Secundària (Ghost house), Jason Oddy investigates the Brasilia home of legendary modernist architect Oscar Niemeyer. A home that by the time Oddy showed up had been shuttered for twenty years.
Imagem Secundària – a Portuguese term for ghost – uses that most persistent of secondary images, the photograph, to hunt down the spectral. In a departure from his normal style, Oddy has produced a body of work that is at once startling and mysterious.
