Yokko Seungyoun (요꼬승연), born in 1977 in South Korea, is a contemporary photographer renowned for his technically challenging pinhole photography. Using a wooden pinhole camera and film, Yokko creates images that embrace unpredictability and the unknowable qualities of the photographic process, requiring patience, precision, and collaboration with his sitters. His ongoing series 14 Memories explores the Korean concept of 인연 (in-yeon), charting sixteen years of intimate connections with past lovers.
