Willy Rizzo (1928–2013) was an Italian-born photographer whose career spanned the golden age of photojournalism through to the height of international celebrity culture. From the late 1940s onward, Rizzo became one of Europe’s most sought-after photographers, working with Paris Match, Life, Marie Claire and Vogue. His camera captured Marilyn Monroe, Brigitte Bardot, Audrey Hepburn, Sophia Loren, Salvador Dalí, Coco Chanel and Pablo Picasso.
