€50.00
Sheila Rock is an American-born, London-based photographer known for her influential work in Punk and New Wave music, fashion, and editorial photography. Her striking portraits of bands, performers, and everyday subjects captured the energy of London’s creative scene from the 1970s onward. Recording the emergence of Punk and New Wave music in the 1970s and 80s, from the Cure, the Clash, Siouxsie Sioux to the staff of Vivienne Westwood’s Sex shop, Rock records the raw energy and DIY ethos of a London right on the brink of a movement.
