Jane Birkin for American Vogue, 1966 by Norman Parkinson
€2,700.00
Norman Parkinson (1913–1990) was one of the great pioneers of fashion photography, whose seven-decade career reshaped the visual language of 20th century style. Rejecting the rigid conventions of studio portraiture, Parkinson brought models into the open air, pioneering what he described as “action realism.” He introduced movement, vitality and narrative into fashion photography for leading publications like Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Queen, Life and Town & Country.
Parkinson photographed many of the most iconic figures of the 20th century, including Audrey Hepburn, Ava Gardner, Montgomery Clift, Jean Seberg, Raquel Welch, Iman and Jerry Hall.
Elliott Gallery is proud to present vintage, later signed and estate prints by Norman Parkinson.
