Lieke Zweekhorst

Lieke Zweekhorst (b. 1993) is a Dutch contemporary photographer whose work explores the emotional and human connections between subjects, combining intimate portraiture with narrative stills. Her images often evoke feelings of both alienation and connection, reflecting her genuine curiosity and empathetic engagement with the world. Her award-winning series A Man and His Horse, created on the Gambian coast, captures a poetic encounter between a man and his horse.
