John ‘Hoppy’ Hopkins

John ‘Hoppy’ Hopkins was a British photographer whose work captures the spirit of 1960s London and the burgeoning music and counterculture scene. Hoppy photographed early rock icons such as The Stones and The Beatles, as well as the raw underbelly of London — tattoo parlours, bikers’ cafes, and the streets that defined a generation. His influence extended across music, publishing, and nightlife, earning him the moniker “King of the Underground.”

Limited edition photographic prints are available through Elliott Gallery.
