Jason Oddy
Jason Oddy is a critically acclaimed British artist whose photographic practice investigates politically and ideologically charged spaces around the world. Working with a large-format camera, Oddy documents architectural sites shaped by power structures and institutional authority, including the Pentagon, Guantanamo Bay, the United Nations headquarters, ex-Soviet sanatoria and Oscar Niemeyer’s projects in Algeria. Through carefully constructed compositions and geometric symmetry, his images analyse the ontological and ideological foundations of these environments.
Oddy’s work has been exhibited internationally and is held in major public and private collections including the Wellcome Collection, the Elton John Collection and DZ Bank.
Limited edition works by Jason Oddy are available through Elliott Gallery.
