Iris Maria Tusa

Iris Maria Tușa is a Romanian photographer whose work explores memory, identity, and the collective experience of place. Her series Thresholds (2024) and Childhood Memories (2017–2023) reflect her childhood in rural Dobrogea, reimagining familiar landscapes as spaces of transition between memory and imagination. Through her tranquil and layered imagery, Tușa captures both personal and shared experiences, examining how memory, place, and identity intersect.

Tușa’s work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, and she has published three books, including a photobook documenting Childhood Memories.
