The fantastic series ‘Breathe’ by Michelle Sank is featured in iSSue seVen of Nicotine Magazine. Nicotine is a biannual fashion and art magazine based in New York.

Forced to stay close to home due to the pandemic, in this series Sank explores her own socially and ethnically diverse neighbourhood in Exeter (UK). How do people manage the public and private spaces around them in the various stages of a national lockdown? Her photographical research resulted in a unique, and on-going, project documenting a community in an intimate manner.
